Shola joined the Platinum team in 2016 with welcomes you to join her & others on their yoga journey to healthier lifestyles.


She has been a British Wheel of Yoga certified teacher for 4 years and holds qualifications in Physiology and Anatomy and a Degree in Counselling and Psychology.

Having worked in mental health for 10 years and as a mental health counsellor for 5,
Shola witnessed daily, the long lasting physical and emotional effects injury, stress and anxiety can have on both the body and mind of an individual. She wanted to bring physical and emotional strength, inner peace and a sense of calmness to all those who give yoga a chance to make a difference in their lives.

Yoga is about the breath, quietening the mind and focussing on our presence in the moment using detachment, concentration& relaxation to create a gentle but at times intense and demanding workout.


There are numerous benefits of a consistent yoga practice – it helps balance the body and mind. It calms the mind, reducing stress and anxiety, increases core strength, improves digestion, circulation and memory. It helps to relieve pain and tension, improves muscle strength and tone, improves posture, can help you to sleep and many more.
